Born in the vibrant lanes of Jaipur, Mrignaini is a celebration of India's timeless block printing art. Each piece tells a story — carved by master artisans whose families have practised this craft for generations.
We work hand-in-hand with local craftsmen, using natural dyes sourced from indigo, pomegranate, and marigold to create fabrics that breathe tradition and sustainability.
Hi, I’m Amayra Chanana, 18, curious, and proudly not just one thing.
I never understood why we’re told to pick one lane and stay in it. Why not explore everything that sparks joy? I’m in college, figuring life out like anyone else my age. Somewhere between lectures, ideas, and random experiments, Mrignaini was born. What started small slowly turned into something that feels much bigger than me.
I’ve always loved everything desi, but not the kind that feels outdated or boxed in. To me, what you wear should feel like you. Your mood, your story, your roots, your personality.
A trip to Jaipur changed everything. I went to look at fabrics and came back seeing art. Watching artisans hand block print felt like witnessing something you cannot industrialize. The slight imperfections, the richness of colour, and the human touch. Machines can copy patterns, but they cannot copy soul.
What followed was an impulsive decision to try. Then came months of learning, designing, fittings, styling, reworking, and understanding fabrics and silhouettes.
Somewhere in that process, we found the Mrignaini way. Styling hand block prints in a way that keeps the craft alive while making it feel fresh and relevant.
I’m building this brand for girls who want to feel elegant but expressive, rooted but modern.
If you’ve ever wanted something traditional that still feels like you, this is for you.
Master artisans hand-carve intricate motifs into teak wood blocks — each block a unique work of art taking days to perfect.
Colours are extracted from nature — indigo for blues, pomegranate for yellows, madder root for reds — mixed to our heritage recipes.
Each stamp is pressed by hand with rhythmic precision. The artisan dips, aligns, and presses — turning metres of fabric into living art.
Fabrics are sun-dried, washed, and finished with care — revealing the final vibrant colours that only deepen with time.
The saree I received was nothing short of a masterpiece. You can feel the soul of Jaipur woven into every thread. Absolutely stunning craftsmanship.
I gifted a Mrignaini dupatta to my mother and she was moved to tears. The natural dyes, the handwork — it reminded her of her grandmother's textiles.
Mrignaini's kurtas are the perfect blend of comfort and heritage. I wear them to celebrations and always get compliments on the print quality.
Whether you're looking for the perfect piece or want to learn about our craft, we'd love to hear from you.
